| Details | ArMES was built based upon Operations Research (OR) principles and includes statistical processing capabilities. This provides you with a shop floor control system that has a TQM focus right out of the box. Real time monitoring alerts users to production problems, even without process control equipment. What-if scenario tools allows for queue dissipation and resource allocation disentanglements. ArMES contains a workflow manager, which provides for optional kanban and takt time functionality. There is also a switchboard to route messages and work packets throughout the system and with external vendors, customers and partners. There is a recipe manager to manage activity at individual workstations. A data historian stores process data that was collected from your own production facilities, internal lab results, and vendor SOAs. | |
| ArMES was built with a focus on change - your business is not static and has to be flexible to compete in today's marketplace. ArMES is just as flexible, and will not hold you up when you change your operations. ArMES is designed to be extensible, and all of its components can be optionally deployed, as need them. A system can be deployed in stages as small as a single production line, one work area, or a single business process. | ||
| Having these components at our fingertips allows us to construct a system that meets the needs of many businesses operating in a variety of manufacturing and service industries. The majority of time involved in deploying an ArMES system is in requirements collection and business process development. The results of the business processes are then used to construct the ArMES system, in a manner that it will meet your exact needs. We do recommend starting with a single area or process to automate, so that you can familiarize yourself with the system and see what benefits ArMES can bring to your firm. Through the extensible nature of ArMES, we can readily add additional business processes to your existing framework. ArMES is also an excellent vehicle for us to retrofit and integrate with existing systems. | ||
| Technical Details | As we mentioned above, ArMES was designed from scratch using the latest Internet based technologies. More information on the technical side of ArMES can be viewed by clicking here. | |
